GTA 6 vehicles: how to read the confirmed list
Named models, edition availability and the difference between a sighting and a tested statistic.
What counts as a confirmed vehicle?
A familiar shape in a screenshot is a starting point, not a full specification. Similar styling can lead to a plausible identification, but GGWaypoint only marks a model as officially named when a primary source provides the name. This avoids carrying an older game’s badge or statistics into GTA 6 without evidence.
The initial named collection
Our vehicle directory begins with items named in Rockstar’s edition support material, including the ’95 Grotti Cheetah, Shitzu Squalo, ’67 Vapid Dominator Buggy and ’55 Vapid Stanier Sedan. This is not a claim that the directory contains every vehicle in the final game.
Why the speed and price fields are blank
A vehicle name does not establish its handling model, acceleration, purchase price or top speed. Even a speedometer visible in a clip may depend on the build, upgrades, terrain or conditions. Importing a number from GTA V would make the record look complete while answering a different question.
For a future comparison, we would record the route, vehicle configuration, test conditions and repeat runs. A useful ranking needs a fair test. Until then, “Not verified” is deliberate information, not a missing promise.
Availability is its own question
Edition information can tell you that an item belongs to a bonus collection. It may not tell you precisely when it unlocks or whether another route to the same item exists. Each record keeps availability alongside the source so readers can check the context themselves.
How to use the database
- Search a model name or manufacturer.
- Open the record and read its evidence status.
- Check the availability note before assuming where to obtain it.
- Follow the source link for the current official wording.
- Send a correction if you find a newer primary source.
