How the current local GGWaypoint build handles visitor information.
Scope: this notice describes the local development build as of 30 August 2026. It must be reviewed and completed with the operator’s details and the actual hosting, advertising and analytics services before a public launch.
Contact form information
If you use the contact form, the site stores your name, email address, selected topic and message in a private WordPress inbox so the site owner can review the enquiry. Do not include sensitive information. Messages are scheduled for deletion after 30 days; deletion runs when WordPress scheduled tasks execute. Copies may remain in backups until those backups expire.
Abuse prevention and server logs
A short-lived hashed key based on the submitting IP address and email is used to limit repeated submissions for one minute. The form does not add a public comment. The web server may separately keep technical logs of requests and errors; public hosting retention must be specified before launch.
Cookies and external links
This build does not add analytics, advertising or marketing cookies. WordPress uses cookies for signed-in users. Following a link to another site takes you to that site’s own privacy practices. A future advertising or analytics setup will need its own review and any required consent controls before activation.
Requests and contact
Use the contact form and select “Privacy request” to ask about a message you submitted. The site owner will need enough information to identify the submission. No external advertising or analytics service is connected by this build.
Before public launch
The real operator identity, contact arrangements, hosting providers, applicable retention periods and any regional privacy requirements still need to be finalized. This page is an accurate development notice, not a claim that the future public site has completed a legal compliance review.
