GTA 6 Activities: What Rockstar Has Confirmed and Shown
A source-backed guide to GTA 6 activities, separating developer-confirmed options from scenes shown in official footage and details still unknown.
GTA 6 activities currently confirmed in direct developer interviews include pool, mini golf, kayaking and controlled gym workouts. Rockstar’s official footage also shows other leisure and world events, but a scene or piece of equipment is not enough to prove a repeatable player activity. This guide separates explicitly described activities from visual context and details that remain unknown.
Quick answer: Rob Nelson has directly described pool, mini golf, kayaking, fishing and gym training in GTA 6. Rockstar’s regional presentation also associates Mount Kalaga with hunting, fishing and off-road trails. The public sources do not yet reveal a complete activity list, rewards, repeatability, multiplayer use or every progression rule.
How GGWaypoint classifies GTA 6 activities
An activity enters this guide only when a public source supports the wording. The label explains what that source can prove:
- OFFICIALLY CONFIRMED: a Rockstar developer or Rockstar page directly says the activity is available or describes how it works.
- SHOWN IN OFFICIAL MATERIAL: the action appears in Rockstar-hosted footage, but the public source may not explain its rules.
- EDITORIAL INTERPRETATION: a location, item or NPC action may suggest context without proving a playable system.
- UNKNOWN / NOT CONFIRMED: Rockstar has not published enough information to answer the question reliably.
This prevents a kayak, fishing rod, gym or storefront from being treated as proof of a complete activity system on visual appearance alone.
Activities directly described by Rockstar developers
Pool
OFFICIALLY CONFIRMED: Rob Nelson told IGN that Jason and Lucia can spend time together through ordinary activities, and he included pool among his examples.
That confirms pool as an activity in the version discussed during the interview. It does not establish every venue, control, opponent, wager, reward or repeatability rule.
Mini golf
OFFICIALLY CONFIRMED: Nelson also named mini golf as an activity the pair can do together.
The interview does not publish a course count, scoring interface, unlock requirement or reward system. Those details remain unknown.
Kayaking
OFFICIALLY CONFIRMED: Kayaking appears in Nelson’s direct list of activities Jason and Lucia can do together.
This statement is stronger than simply seeing a kayak in official media. GGWaypoint’s Crest Kayak record documents an officially named entity, while the interview supplies the activity claim. Neither source provides a complete route, race, reward or upgrade system.

Gym training
OFFICIALLY CONFIRMED: In Famitsu’s direct interview, Nelson described gym training as an activity controlled by the player. He also discussed tracked health/cardio/fitness states and said training can improve base fitness-related attributes.
SHOWN IN OFFICIAL MATERIAL: the Extended Look contains a workout scene at approximately 17:19–17:33.
Together, the interview and footage support a controlled workout activity. They do not publish a full skill tree, every exercise, membership cost, stat ceiling or all visual body-change rules.
Fishing
OFFICIALLY CONFIRMED: When Famitsu asked Rob Nelson about GTA VI activities, fishing was specifically discussed and Nelson named it among the activities he likes. Rockstar’s Mount Kalaga material provides additional official regional context.
That supports fishing as an activity, but not a complete guide to it. Fish species, equipment, controls, rewards, progression and every location remain unpublished in the sources reviewed here.
Activities Jason and Lucia can do together
Nelson’s IGN interview frames shared activity as one way to spend time with Jason and Lucia and develop their relationship. The examples include pool, mini golf, kayaking and robberies. Famitsu separately describes the pair as able to operate together or apart, with story and mission context affecting switching.
The safe conclusion is that shared activity has a relationship context. The interviews do not disclose affinity numbers, romance penalties, permanent break points or final story outcomes. Those boundaries belong in the Jason and Lucia story explainer.
Activities shown in the Extended Look
Workout scene
OFFICIALLY CONFIRMED: Famitsu directly describes controlled gym training. SHOWN IN OFFICIAL MATERIAL: the official presentation shows a workout moment, and Famitsu’s interview independently establishes player-controlled gym training. This is the clearest current example where footage and direct system commentary support each other.
Roadside broadcast or live-stream-style event
SHOWN IN OFFICIAL MATERIAL: at approximately 17:58–18:25, the Extended Look presents a roadside event involving a vehicle trunk, a broadcast/live-stream-like setup and approaching police.
It is safe to say the event appears in the official in-game presentation. The clip does not establish how it starts, whether it is repeatable, whether the player receives a reward or whether it belongs to a wider activity category.
Robberies and criminal activity
OFFICIALLY CONFIRMED: Nelson named robberies as something Jason and Lucia can do together. The Extended Look also shows several armed jobs and confrontations.
GGWaypoint does not convert those scenes into a mission list. Mission names, payouts, optional objectives and chronology remain unpublished unless a source supplies them.
Read the timestamped Extended Look analysis for the presentation-specific evidence.
Regional activity context
Mount Kalaga
Rockstar’s Only in Leonida material associates Mount Kalaga with hunting, fishing and off-road trails.
This is official regional wording. It supports those activities as part of how Rockstar presents the area, but it does not reveal hunting species, fishing controls, equipment, rewards, progression or route rules.

Leonida Keys and coastal activity
Official GTA VI material establishes the Leonida Keys as a coastal/island region. Kayaking is directly described by Nelson, but the interviews reviewed for this draft do not assign all kayaking content to one exact region. GGWaypoint therefore links the regional context without inventing a route or location.
Customization and edition content
Rockstar’s edition support material names Rideout Customs, Sara’s Unisex Salon, Stock 305, Electric Fang Tattoo Parlor and One-Eyed Willie’s. These names provide verified edition/customization context.
They do not establish that every service is available in every edition, that each venue has a published map coordinate, or that the player owns or manages the business. Exact services, prices, unlock conditions and base-game availability should remain tied to the wording of Rockstar’s edition documentation.
Editorial interpretation and limits
The following visual evidence is not enough on its own:
- An NPC performs an action: that does not prove the player can repeat it.
- Equipment appears in a screenshot: that does not reveal controls or progression.
- A shop has a sign or interior: that does not confirm ownership or a complete service menu.
- A boat, kayak or off-road vehicle appears: that does not prove races, challenges or upgrades.
- Wildlife appears in a region: that does not define a hunting or fishing system.
- A social-media-style event appears: that does not reveal how it is discovered or rewarded.
These observations may become stronger evidence when Rockstar publishes a manual, detailed gameplay page or direct explanation.
What remains unknown
Rockstar has not yet published:
- the complete GTA 6 activity list;
- which activities are repeatable;
- activity rewards, fees or payouts;
- all unlock and progression conditions;
- a complete fitness/stat model;
- every pool, mini-golf, kayak or gym location;
- multiplayer activity availability;
- an activity menu or matchmaking structure;
- whether every environmental event can be joined by the player;
- all edition restrictions affecting named shops or services.
Unknown does not mean absent. It means the reviewed public sources do not support a more specific answer yet.

Named services in developer-described systems
Rob Nelson’s direct gameplay discussion also names Ammu-Nation, Pay ’n’ Spray and vehicle fence Randy. Their database records separate the functions described by the developer from prices, branch locations and other rules Rockstar has not published.
Named places and services behind the activity evidence
Rockstar’s current material also identifies Allied Crystal, nightlife business Jack of Hearts and the Thrillbilly Mud Club name. Their records explain exactly what the official sources establish and which jobs, venue access or activity mechanics remain unknown.
