GTA 6 Ultimate Edition: every official extra explained
See every officially listed GTA 6 Ultimate Edition vehicle, weapon, style, business, activity, and the option to buy the upgrade later.

Is GTA 6 Ultimate Edition confirmed?
Yes. Rockstar has officially announced Grand Theft Auto VI: Ultimate Edition for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. It includes Grand Theft Auto VI and the Ultimate Edition Upgrade. Rockstar describes the upgrade as a collection threaded across Jason and Lucia’s story, with items appearing as chapters progress. It is not a separate game, an early-access edition, or proof that every included item is available at the beginning.
How much is GTA 6 Ultimate Edition?
As checked on 5 September 2026, the official U.S. PlayStation and Xbox stores list GTA VI Ultimate Edition at US$99.99. That is a current U.S. first-party price, not a universal global price; currency, tax, availability, and store terms can differ by region. Use the main GTA 6 editions comparison for Standard-versus-Ultimate pricing and format decisions.
The current official contents include vehicles, weapons, visual customization, businesses, a gang-compound activity, and a classic-car commission. The list confirms those additions exist in the announced package. It does not publish every access condition, performance statistic, mission reward, or equivalent base-game option.
Ultimate Edition vehicles and weapons
- ’95 Grotti Cheetah: a named Ultimate Edition vehicle.
- Jason’s Safehouse Vehicles: a group tied to Jason’s property context; the complete standard-access comparison is not yet published.
- Ganado Retro Build: a named retro build in the upgrade list.
- Shitzu Squalo: a named watercraft in Rockstar’s list.
- ’67 Vapid Dominator Buggy and Garage: a vehicle-and-storage benefit.
- Classic Car Collection: a special commission involving project cars.
- Hawk & Little Morgan Revolvers: a named weapon pair.
- Personalized Weapon Variants: additional variants whose exact gameplay values should be checked after release.
Included does not mean statistically superior. Until the game can be tested, do not assume the Cheetah is the fastest car, the revolvers have the highest damage, or an included garage changes normal storage limits. Our vehicle evidence guide explains that distinction.
Styles, businesses, and other Ultimate content
Rockstar’s list also names Vice City Styles, Rideout Customs Mod Shop, Sara’s Unisex Salon, Stock 305 Clothing Store, Electric Fang Tattoo Parlor, One-Eyed Willie’s Mod Shop, Goodtime Gear, and the PTT Youngin$ Compound. The support page describes the compound as an activity where players can raid the location and escape with special items and contraband.
These additions suggest customization and activity content across the story, but the marketing list does not fully explain access timing, repeatability, prices, or whether comparable base-game services exist. The GGWaypoint database records the official name and source first; direct-play details will follow.
Can Standard Edition owners upgrade later?
Yes. Rockstar says the Ultimate Edition Upgrade will be sold separately through PlayStation and Microsoft storefronts. Standard Edition owners can buy it after their game code has been redeemed. That includes owners of the physical Standard box, which contains a digital download code rather than a disc.
A physical Ultimate Edition is not listed. If you want the box and the Ultimate content, the announced path is physical Standard plus the separate digital upgrade. Compare the live combined price with digital Ultimate in your own region before deciding.
How to decide whether GTA 6 Ultimate Edition is worth it
- Mark the listed items you would actually use.
- Compare the local price difference with the separate upgrade price.
- Do not assign imaginary performance value to an untested vehicle or weapon.
- Check whether you prefer digital delivery or a physical box containing a code.
- Read refund terms and account-region requirements.
- Remember that the upgrade remains available later according to Rockstar’s current support page.
For many players, Standard will be enough because it includes the full game and leaves the upgrade option open. Ultimate is easier to justify when several named additions matter to you and the local price difference is acceptable. There is no need to turn a bonus list into pressure to buy immediately.
