GTA 6 map: getting oriented in Leonida
The six named destinations are a useful starting point, but they are not a complete playable map.

Vice City and Leonida are not interchangeable
Rockstar places GTA VI in Leonida and highlights Vice City within that setting. Thinking of the city as one part of a wider state makes it easier to organize official place names without assuming that everything shown belongs to the same urban area.
The six names to know
Rockstar’s official presentation names Vice City, Leonida Keys, Grassrivers, Port Gellhorn, Ambrosia and Mount Kalaga. Our location directory keeps a record for each name so later guides can link to a consistent reference.
That list is an index to the announced destinations, not a boundary survey. It does not prove the final map scale, travel times, road connections or every accessible interior.
How to evaluate a map claim
- Look for the source of the image, not only the account sharing it.
- Distinguish an official screenshot from a fan reconstruction.
- Check whether labels were added by a fan or appear in the original material.
- Treat exact measurements cautiously unless a method is shown.
- Do not use an estimated layout as a verified collectible route.
A fan map can be thoughtful and interesting while still being an interpretation. Labelling that distinction makes it more useful, not less.
What a useful location guide should show
After a location can be tested, a guide should pair the map view with an on-the-ground landmark. A marker alone is often frustrating when a road has multiple levels, an entrance is around the corner, or access depends on story progress.
Our planned location format will include the starting point, route, visible landmark and any relevant prerequisite. We will not put precise pins onto an illustrative map and present them as verified coordinates.
Where to go next
Browse the named regions or meet the official character lineup. If you have a newer official source, the correction form lets you send the link for review.
