GTA 6 missions guide: confirmed story facts, no fake list
A pre-launch GTA 6 missions guide separating Rockstar's story evidence from invented mission names, objectives, rewards, and walkthrough claims.

Are GTA 6 mission names confirmed?
No official GTA VI mission titles have been published as of 5 September 2026. Rockstar has revealed the central story premise and shown several mission-like story and action sequences, but it has not released a named mission list, objective order, chapter count, rewards, or a verified walkthrough.
This guide records only what the official material establishes. A scene can be SHOWN IN OFFICIAL MATERIAL without becoming a confirmed mission title, and an edited presentation cannot establish chronology on its own.
What mission and story evidence has Rockstar shown?
OFFICIALLY CONFIRMED: Rockstar says an easy score goes wrong and draws Jason and Lucia into a criminal conspiracy stretching across Leonida. The official character profiles also connect Jason to Brian Heder’s smuggling operation and introduce figures including Boobie Ike, Dre’Quan Priest, Real Dimez, and Raul Bautista.
Rockstar’s 27 August 2026 Grand Theft Auto VI: An Extended Look supplies the clearest current sequence evidence:
- SHOWN — 00:03–06:11: Jason and Lucia travel to the PTT YOUNGIN$ Compound for a collection, the situation becomes a task-force raid, and they escape. Rockstar does not publish a mission title, objective list, reward, or final outcome for the sequence.
- SHOWN — 13:28–16:59: the pair meet Raul Bautista and become involved in a police pursuit and escape. Raul is officially named; the sequence itself is not given an official mission title.
- SHOWN — 19:04–25:40: Jason and Lucia meet another contact, move through an airport-related setting, and take part in a coordinated armed attack. The presentation does not establish its title, chronology, or complete objectives.
These moments support story, travel, combat, police pursuit, and coordinated action. They do not prove which sequences are playable from beginning to end, whether they are separate missions, or where they sit in the final story order. For scene-by-scene context, use the timestamped Extended Look breakdown.
What a Rockstar developer has confirmed about mission structure
OFFICIALLY CONFIRMED — DIRECT DEVELOPER INTERVIEW: In Famitsu’s 28 August 2026 interview, Rockstar North Head of Development and Co-Studio Head Rob Nelson described several mission-structure examples. These details establish how some sequences can work without supplying official mission titles.
- Character switching can be free in some missions and restricted or forced in others when the story calls for a particular perspective.
- Nelson described an early mission through a high-rise housing estate that was changed to keep the player with Jason for that sequence.
- He described a bank-robbery-related vehicle sequence that starts with the player controlling Jason and later switches control to Lucia while Jason and Raul return fire.
- He said the attack shown near the end of the Extended Look allows the player to alternate between Jason and Lucia.
- When asked about the gas-station convenience-store robbery, Nelson said the action can be approached alone or with Lucia. That confirms flexibility in the example, but not a universal rule for every robbery.
The interview still does not publish the missions’ official titles, complete objectives, rewards, failure conditions, or final order. These remain structure examples rather than a launch walkthrough.
Why official footage is not a GTA 6 mission list
Trailers and presentations are edited to communicate story, tone, and variety. A few seconds may combine a cutscene, ambient event, and gameplay from different parts of the game. Dialogue can be moved, music can cover transitions, and a camera can show a moment the player does not directly control.
GGWaypoint therefore does not relabel the compound raid, police pursuit, robberies, or other shown scenes as official missions unless Rockstar supplies a title. We also exclude leaked names, fan labels, trailer-scene nicknames, Reddit lists, and YouTube chapter names from the official record.
Does GTA 6 have missions revealed?
Rockstar has revealed mission-like story and action sequences, but not named missions with complete objectives. Describing what a sequence visibly shows is accurate; presenting a guessed name or ordered mission list is not.
Is a GTA 6 walkthrough available yet?
No source-verified walkthrough can exist before the game is released and played directly. Pre-launch scene summaries are not walkthroughs, and a “100% checklist” must wait for verified launch evidence.
How GGWaypoint mission walkthroughs will work after launch
- Record the exact mission title displayed by the released game.
- Note the platform, game version, starting conditions, and required character.
- Complete the mission directly and separate required objectives from optional approaches.
- Test failure points, checkpoints, rewards, and replay behavior.
- Use spoiler labels and keep story details out of titles where possible.
- Update the walkthrough when a patch changes an objective or reward.
Future mission pages will link to relevant characters, locations, vehicles, weapons, and systems instead of repeating the same facts. Until launch evidence exists, the current owner remains a bounded status guide rather than an empty mission database.
What you can use before launch
Use the Jason and Lucia story guide for the official premise and character background, the map guide for named regions, the activities guide for confirmed and shown optional activity evidence, and the wanted-system guide for police and pursuit mechanics.
If another page publishes a long mission list before launch, check whether it labels speculation and links a direct source. Formatting, confidence, or a numbered table cannot substitute for an official title or playable evidence.
How spoiler protection will work
Mission pages will use a spoiler-light summary before detailed objectives. Major outcomes, late-game characters, and ending requirements will sit behind clear warnings. Search titles and excerpts will avoid revealing a twist when a useful neutral description is possible.
GGWaypoint will also separate story missions from random events, activities, challenges, and business tasks after the released interface identifies those categories. Similar-looking footage is not enough to decide where an event belongs.
